Self awareness is the first step of emotional intelligence. It teaches how to identify your emotions and be aware of them, their triggers and their impact.
Emotional intelligence is the skill to be aware of, control and ultimately express emotions. The latest studies suggest that EQ (emotional intelligence quotient) is more important than IQ (intelligence quotient) for succeeding in work, life and having a better health in general. By mastering it, you could be aware not only of your own emotions (and therefore drivers), but also of the emotions of the people around you (and therefore guide them and in general benefit from the extra information).
Self-awareness is the first step (out of four) in improving your emotional intelligence. This skill allows you to spot your emotions as they arise (and not after their devastating effect). It also helps you to anticipate the upcoming emotional reaction by defining and being aware of the things that drive you towards those emotions.

Positive thinking teaches you how to be aware of your thoughts and influence them in order to view the world as a good place full of opportunities.
Positive thinking means the conscious choice to be happy and positive. Happiness is not a condition of the mind, or a goal, or a dream, it is a choice that you must make every day. When you wake up in the morning you have several choices: to be happy, to be sad or to be in between. Most of you make that choice unconsciously and this leads to questionable results.
Positive thinking can be reasserted by seemingly mundane choices in your life: the movies you watch, the songs you listen to, the books you read, the people you hang out with. It can help you be healthier, more productive and ultimately happier. Yet for most of the people it is hard to put optimism fist.
Negative thinking on the other hand is very easy to achieve. The human mind has a strange tendency to get pulled into negativity and self-criticism. Once in there, it could be very hard for you to pull yourself out of it. Your self-esteem and self-confidence suffer when you dwell on the negative things that others say about you, or that you think about yourself.

Elevator speech is a short, clear message that communicates what you are selling, why you are better than the rest and how you can benefit an organization.
Elevator speech is a short presentation in front of a targeted audience. Sometimes all you get is 30 seconds in front of someone to present your idea, business, personal profile or company. It could be at a cocktail party, when you get hold of a potential high-profile customer. Or at a charity event, when you join the table of a venture capitalist, whom you are targeting. Or at the company Christmas party, when you find yourself waiting for the toilet with the VP of Engineering. It could also be the classic example in the elevator, when you travel between 14th and 56th floor with the CEO.
What would you say in that case? How would you present your idea (or business, or profile) in the best possible way? What are the pitfalls that you should avoid?
This article explains the term “elevator speech” and outlines different tips and steps that you can take in order to create and polish it. Practicing discipline and a daily routine is very important in order to get enough sleep and have enough energy to remain productive for the whole day.
Everybody is struggling to get their day organized and optimized. You are all stretched between being an employee (or entrepreneur), a husband, a parent, a sibling and a child. And you also need to set aside time for yourself, pursuing education, fulfillment, relaxation and achievement. And on top of everything else and all your responsibilities, you have to find time to exercise and sleep. Practicing discipline can help you get hold of all those tasks.
The key skills that I have found so far in my quest for perfection, is parallelization and organization. I believe that the best way to accomplish everything that you have to do in a day, is to do tasks in parallel. And the second most important task is to organize your day in advance so that you plan time for everything.
